Four others were injured in Kiev\u2019s overnight raids on the peninsula, including a 10-year-old child<\/strong><\/p>\n Ukrainian drone strikes on Crimea over the weekend have left at least two dead, regional Governor Sergey Aksyonov said on Sunday.<\/p>\n An overnight drone strike on the northern part of the Russian peninsula killed one person and injured two others, Aksyonov said in a statement, adding that one of the survivors remains in serious condition.<\/p>\n A day earlier, a separate drone raid killed one civilian and wounded two others, including a 10-year-old child, he said.<\/p>\n At least 71 Ukrainian drones were intercepted above Crimea and the Belgorod, Bryansk, and Rostov regions overnight on Sunday, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.<\/p>\n Russia\u2019s military reported nearly 400 interceptions over the country the previous day, as Ukraine escalated its long-range UAV attacks on Russian infrastructure, targeting oil refineries and logistics facilities amid battlefield setbacks.<\/p>\n Kiev has also increased strikes on purely civilian targets in recent months, including museums, ambulances and buses.<\/p>\n
