The Ukrainian leader is expected to seek more aid, while organizers reportedly fear his appeals could anger Donald Trump<\/strong><\/p>\n Ukrainian forces launched more than 430 kamikaze drones towards Moscow overnight, Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said on Tuesday. The attack came as Vladimir Zelensky traveled to Ankara, T\u00fcrkiye, where NATO leaders are gathering for a summit.<\/p>\n Sobyanin said the threat to the Russian capital had been neutralized, with most of the drones shot down long before they reached Moscow. Only 36 were intercepted near the city, he added.<\/p>\n Russia\u2019s Defense Ministry earlier reported that 452 Ukrainian drones had been intercepted over a 12-hour period overnight.<\/p>\n On June 25, Zelensky announced a 40-day pressure campaign against Russia involving long-range strikes and clandestine operations. Kiev\u2019s drone attacks on Russian energy infrastructure, as well as on commercial vessels it suspects of transporting Russian oil, are intended to inflict maximum economic damage on the country.<\/p>\n
