{"id":7374,"date":"2026-07-09T22:44:06","date_gmt":"2026-07-09T22:44:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.youtubexyoutube.com\/?p=7374"},"modified":"2026-07-10T13:46:22","modified_gmt":"2026-07-10T13:46:22","slug":"russian-troops-rescue-family-trapped-in-donbass-combat-zone-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.youtubexyoutube.com\/index.php\/2026\/07\/09\/russian-troops-rescue-family-trapped-in-donbass-combat-zone-video\/","title":{"rendered":"Russian troops rescue family trapped in Donbass combat zone (VIDEO)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The civilians were guided to safety by drones and a walkie-talkie from newly liberated Konstantinovka<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Russian troops have rescued a family trapped in the city of Konstantinovka in the Donetsk People\u2019s Republic (DPR), which was recently liberated from Ukrainian forces after months of intense fighting.<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The DPR, a largely Russian-speaking region in Donbass, broke away from Ukraine shortly after the 2014 Western-backed coup in Kiev. The region later voted to become part of Russia in a referendum held in September 2022. Ukraine, however, continued to control parts of the DPR after 2014.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, Moscow announced the capture of the city at the southernmost edge of the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration, the last major Ukrainian stronghold in the DPR.\u00a0Russian troops are conducting mop-up operations and clearing mines as fighting continues around Konstantinovka. Drones from both sides continue to fly over streets lined with heavily damaged buildings.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\n        <span><strong>Read more<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<figure>\n            <img src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" alt=\"RT\" class=\"lazyload\" data-src=\"http:\/\/www.youtubexyoutube.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/6a4cc12285f54032a9335e18.png\"><figcaption><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rt.com\/news\/642663-rick-sanchez-russia-kiev-strikes\/\">Rick Sanchez zooms in on Kiev strikes (VIDEO)<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>During a routine surveillance drone patrol, Russian troops spotted a partially destroyed house with a makeshift banner outside reading, <em>\u201cA family lives here.\u201d<\/em> The residents noticed the UAV and displayed another placard reading, <em>\u201cA family with a child,\u201d<\/em> according to footage released by the Russian Defense Ministry.<\/p>\n<p>The drone dropped a walkie-talkie to the family of four, after which the soldiers guided them to safety while monitoring them from above.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIt was so epic. At dusk, we went out holding the placard. A drone flew past, looked at us, signaled, and flew away. Then we heard over the radio: \u2018Hello, this is the Army of the Russian Federation. Are you ready to go?
