Trump has threatened to impose additional sanctions on Moscow and 100% tariffs on its trading partners if no deal is reached.<\/p>\n<p>Medvedev, who serves as deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, had cautioned Trump against issuing ultimatums. <em>\u201cRussia isn\u2019t Israel or even Iran,\u201d<\/em> he wrote on X, warning that each threat marks <em>\u201ca step towards war\u201d<\/em> between the US and Russia.<\/p>\n<p>Graham, a senior Republican and longtime war hawk, responded by claiming that Russia and its <em>\u201ccustomers\u201d<\/em> would <em>\u201csoon be sadly mistaken\u201d<\/em> and ordered Moscow to <em>\u201cget to the peace table.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Medvedev hit back on Tuesday, stating, <em>\u201cIt\u2019s not for you or Trump to dictate when to \u2018get at the peace table.\u2019\u201d<\/em> He added that negotiations would only end <em>\u201cwhen all the objectives of our military operation have been achieved.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWork on America first, gramps!\u201d<\/em> Medvedev wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Graham, officially labeled a terrorist and extremist by the Russian government, receives major donations from US defense contractors and consistently supports US military action abroad, describing the Ukraine conflict as a proxy war between Washington and Moscow.
