Eight people, including two children, were wounded in an attack on Krasnodar Region, officials have said<\/strong><\/p>\n

A Ukrainian drone struck the Black Sea port of Novorossiysk during a large-scale attack on cities in southern Russia, leaving eight civilians injured, officials have said.<\/p>\n

Krasnodar Region Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said air raid sirens rang in several coastal cities from Sunday through Monday, including the resort town of Sochi.<\/p>\n

In Novorossiysk, two children and one adult were injured in a private home, while three others were injured in an attack on an apartment block. In a separate incident, two people were injured on a road on the outskirts of the city.<\/p>\n

Kondratyev said six apartment blocks and two individual houses were damaged, while drone fragments fell on several industrial sites.<\/p>\n

Novorossiysk has a commercial port and a naval base on the Black Sea, and is home to about 250,000 people.<\/p>\n

The Russian Defense Ministry said 148 drones were intercepted in different regions on Sunday night.<\/p>\n
