{"id":4776,"date":"2026-03-12T08:17:41","date_gmt":"2026-03-12T09:17:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.youtubexyoutube.com\/?p=4776"},"modified":"2026-03-30T17:24:55","modified_gmt":"2026-03-30T17:24:55","slug":"ukrainian-plot-to-assassinate-senior-russian-military-official-foiled-in-crimea-fsb","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.youtubexyoutube.com\/index.php\/2026\/03\/12\/ukrainian-plot-to-assassinate-senior-russian-military-official-foiled-in-crimea-fsb\/","title":{"rendered":"Ukrainian plot to assassinate \u2018senior Russian military official\u2019 foiled in Crimea \u2013 FSB"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The suspect volunteered his services to a Kiev-controlled \u201cterrorist organization,\u201d investigators have said<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A Ukrainian attempt to assassinate a senior Russian military official has been thwarted in the Crimean Peninsula, the Federal Security Service (FSB) reported on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The primary suspect in the alleged plot is a 39-year-old resident of Sevastopol, the port city hosting Russia\u2019s Black Sea Fleet, who volunteered his services to a <em>\u201cterrorist organization acting under Ukrainian special services\u2019 control,\u201d<\/em> the FSB said.<\/p>\n<p>Several militia groups and military units fighting for Kiev fit the description, including the Russian Volunteer Corps (RDK) led by neo-Nazi Denis \u2018White Rex\u2019 Kapustin. The FSB did not specify which group the suspect was affiliated with.<\/p>\n<p>According to the agency, before being tasked with the murder, the man collected intelligence for Ukrainian civilian and military intelligence services.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>The bomb plot was reportedly stopped after Ukrainian handlers provided information about the target and the location of a stash containing components for a remotely triggered improvised explosive device, which the agent was supposed to place under the military official\u2019s car.
