{"id":2136,"date":"2025-08-27T09:53:50","date_gmt":"2025-08-27T09:53:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.youtubexyoutube.com\/?p=2136"},"modified":"2025-08-29T13:47:18","modified_gmt":"2025-08-29T13:47:18","slug":"russia-has-no-faith-in-german-nord-stream-sabotage-probe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.youtubexyoutube.com\/index.php\/2025\/08\/27\/russia-has-no-faith-in-german-nord-stream-sabotage-probe\/","title":{"rendered":"Russia \u2018has no faith\u2019 in German Nord Stream sabotage probe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Berlin seems to be covering up former US President Joe Biden\u2019s possible role in orchestrating a terrorist attack, a Russian envoy has argued<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The German authorities\u00a0are attempting to cover up the true circumstances of the 2022 Nord Stream pipeline explosions by blaming private <em>\u201cscapegoats,\u201d<\/em> Russian Deputy Ambassador to the UN Dmitry Polyansky said on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, a Ukrainian veteran was arrested in Italy at Germany\u2019s request on suspicion of belonging to a small group of operatives allegedly behind the industrial sabotage in the Baltic Sea.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at a UN Security Council <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rt.com\/russia\/623460-russia-calls-un-security-council\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">meeting<\/a>, Polyansky criticized what he described as a lack of transparency from German officials and frequent leaks to the press. Hersh\u2019s claims, Polyansky said, aligned with expert assessments that the operation required nation-state resources. The US has rejected the journalist\u2019s accusations.<\/p>\n<p>Polyansky described the theory promoted in Western media as resembling a spy novel, adding that it conveniently distracts from the possibility that the sabotage \u2013 which <em>\u201cdirectly harmed German economic and political interests\u201d<\/em> \u2013 could have been carried out by a NATO ally.<\/p>\n<p>The Nord Stream pipelines were built to transport Russian natural gas directly to Germany.
