He expressed hope that the mutual understanding reached during the discussions will pave the way toward peace.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe hope that this will be perceived constructively in Kiev and European capitals, and that no obstacles will be created,\u201d<\/em> Putin stressed. <em>\u201cThere should be no attempts to undermine the anticipated progress through provocations or behind-the-scenes intrigue.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Trump stressed that the key takeaway of the talks is that there is a reasonable opportunity to achieve peace.
