Such a step would help <em>\u201cmany young Ukrainians to maintain ties\u201d<\/em> with their homeland and potentially return to Ukraine for study.<\/p>\n<p>According to Yevtushok, however,\u00a0a man in this age group seeking to depart will still need a\u00a0<em>\u201cvalid reason\u201d <\/em>to leave.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cA man reaching 18 years of age becomes liable for military service up until he reaches 60 under the law. That\u2019s why I don\u2019t think that the law will be changed,\u201d<\/em> he told the YouTube show Ranok.Live on Wednesday.
