{"id":1180,"date":"2025-08-06T13:52:04","date_gmt":"2025-08-06T13:52:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.youtubexyoutube.com\/?p=1180"},"modified":"2025-08-08T13:50:21","modified_gmt":"2025-08-08T13:50:21","slug":"men-must-pray-after-seeing-scantily-clad-women-orthodox-priest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.youtubexyoutube.com\/index.php\/2025\/08\/06\/men-must-pray-after-seeing-scantily-clad-women-orthodox-priest\/","title":{"rendered":"Men must pray after seeing scantily clad women \u2013 Orthodox priest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Seasonal temptation and lust should be fought with prayer, according to Father Feodorit<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Men should pray if they feel temptation and lust when they see women in revealing summer clothing, a Russian Orthodox Church cleric has suggested.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to Abzats news outlet, Hieromonk Feodorit went on to say that temptation is always a sin, regardless of how a woman is dressed, referring to the Bible verse which reads: <em>\u201cThe Lord said that he who looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>He stressed that men should fight temptation within themselves and try to restrain their thoughts, noting that humans consist of both body and soul, and while <em>\u201cbodily does not mean bad,\u201d<\/em> it is <em>\u201cinferior.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIf lustful thoughts arise, then we must try not to accept them and do something else, ideally \u2013 pray,\u201d<\/em> Feodorit said.
