{"id":1128,"date":"2025-08-07T12:13:31","date_gmt":"2025-08-07T12:13:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.youtubexyoutube.com\/?p=1128"},"modified":"2025-08-08T13:50:10","modified_gmt":"2025-08-08T13:50:10","slug":"us-has-made-acceptable-offer-kremlin-aide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.youtubexyoutube.com\/index.php\/2025\/08\/07\/us-has-made-acceptable-offer-kremlin-aide\/","title":{"rendered":"US has made \u2018acceptable offer\u2019 \u2013 Kremlin aide"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Yury Ushakov has praised talks between President Vladimir Putin and US special envoy Steve Witkoff as \u201cconstructive\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Russia has received an <em>\u201cacceptable\u201d<\/em> offer from the US on settling the Ukraine conflict, Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov has said, following a visit by US special envoy Steve Witkoff to Moscow.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Ushakov commented on the talks between Witkoff and Russian President Vladimir Putin, noting that Moscow had received a <em>\u201cproposal from the Americans\u201d<\/em> which it is ready to consider, without providing further details.<\/p>\n<p>Ushakov also noted that Russia and the US have topics to discuss, while agreeing with the view of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who earlier described the talks as <em>\u201ca good day.\u201d<\/em> Rubio had added that <em>\u201cwe still have a ways to go, but we\u2019re certainly closer [to peace] today than we were yesterday \u2013 when we weren\u2019t close at all.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\n        <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rt.com\/russia\/622607-putin-trump-historic-summit\/\" rel=\"noopener\"><br \/>\n            <span>READ MORE: <\/span>Putin-Trump meeting could be historic \u2013 Russian envoy<br \/>\n        <\/a>\n    <\/p>\n<p>The Kremlin aide earlier called the Putin-Witkoff meeting <em>\u201cbusiness-like and constructive,\u201d<\/em> adding that <em>\u201cRussian-American ties could develop according to a completely different, mutually beneficial scenario,\u201d<\/em> as compared to the long-running tensions over Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>He also revealed that Putin could meet Trump as soon as next week.
